Dr. Dana Wyss
Dana Wyss, PhD, LMFT, ATR-BC, RPT is a licensed marriage and family therapist, board-certified clinical art therapist, registered play therapist, and co-author of The Invisible StringWorkbook and Hope and The Winds of Grief Workbook. Her doctorate in expressive therapies has led her to create programs integrating art, music, poetry, and animal-assisted therapy in clients' healing process and staff's self-care. For 25 years, Dr. Wyss has worked in psychiatric hospitals, group homes, and nonpublic school settings to manage crises, conduct training, coach staff, and support children and families. Dr. Wyss is a corporate clinical training specialist and clinical/art therapy supervisor at Stars Behavioral Health Group, a company specializing in treating complex developmental trauma. She also owns a small private practice. Dr. Wyss is a national trainer and consultant. She uses her creativity for her healing as well as to support others.

Dr. Meyleen Velasquez
Meyleen Velasquez, DSW, LICSW, RPT-S™, PMH-C, IMH-E®, is an immigrant Latinx psychotherapist specializing in perinatal and infant mental health. Meyleen has a doctorate in social work and focused her research on anti-racist and anti-oppressive mental health services. Her practice supports birthing people and clinicians working from an anti-oppressive framework. Meyleen is a Brown woman living with Vitiligo. She is the author of What Therapists Need to Know About Perinatal and Early Relational Health: A Guide to Anti-Oppressive Counseling with Caregivers, Babies, and Young Children. Meyleen sits on the Board of the Alliance for Advancement of Infant Mental Health and has served as the Chair for the Florida Chapter of Postpartum Support International and the past president of the Florida Association for Play Therapy. She enjoys training, speaking, and writing and believes the more we can support each other, the better for our communities.
Dr. Robert Jason Grant
Dr. Robert Jason Grant is the creator of AutPlay® Therapy. He is a therapist, supervisor, and consultant who utilizes several years of advanced training and his own lived neurodivergent experience to provide affirming services to children and their families. He is an international trainer, keynote presenter, and multi-published author of several articles and books. He is currently serving on the board of directors for the Association for Play Therapy.
Jackie Flynn
Jackie Flynn, EdS, LMHC-S, RPT-S™, passionately advocates for healing through play, EMDR, and the natural world. As the owner of Counseling in Brevard in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Jackie works with individuals of all ages, using play therapy and EMDR to foster deep transformation. Her practice is built on compassion, connection, and the healing power of creative play and nature. Jackie also holds an education specialist degree and a background as a former middle school teacher, professional school counselor, and clinician providing therapy in school settings. She is deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring healing to children, adults, and families through Play and EMDR therapies. Joy Ewing
Joy Ewing, MA, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Aurora, Colorado, and the founder of JoyLife Counseling. As the first Black therapist in Colorado certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Joy specializes in helping Black and multicultural couples enhance communication and relationships through culturally adapted EFT. She also works with individuals and families on issues like trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. A Prairie View A&M psychology graduate with a master’s from the University of Denver, Joy integrates Gottman, EMDR, and neurofeedback approaches into her practice.

Julie Jacobs, Psy.D., J.D., is a licensed psychologist and attorney specializing in mental health provider law. With a background as a clinical psychologist and former Captain in the U.S. Air Force, she offers consultations on legal, ethical, and risk management issues through her Colorado-based practice. Julie also serves as a risk management consultant for The Trust, providing guidance and education for psychologists. A former Chair of the Colorado Psychological Association's Legislative Committee, she remains active in legislative advocacy for mental health providers.
Melissa Winterscheid
Melissa Winterschied, LPC-S, RPT-S, has provided training in counseling, play therapy, and the sandtray community for many years. Melissa has served on multiple local, state, and national counseling committees and currently sits on the Oklahoma Play Therapy Association board. Melissa has an extensive background of over 12 years in school-based therapy and has maintained a private practice for over 5 years. Melissa is an interactive teacher and trainer and enjoys connecting with fellow therapists and supervisors.
Milagros (Mili) Sarmiento-Shoemaker
I was born and raised in Argentina. I am bilingual (Spanish-English) as a cross-cultural and international therapist, teacher, and supervisor. In my practice, I am dedicated to guiding individuals, children, and families on a profound journey of self-discovery and growth. I believe that within every family system lies a hidden gem, a perfect way of functioning waiting to be unearthed. As atherapist and supervisor, my role is to support clients inunderstanding and embracing their family dynamics, fosteringshifts in perception that lead to self-embrace and gratitude forone’s roots. My approach is rooted in the belief that we seek love and connection within ourselves and others at the core of our being. Yet, unresolved wounds often hinder our ability to experience and fully express love.

NanDee Walker holds a Graduate Degree in counseling clinical mental Health from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Licensed professional counselor Supervisor, and a Registered Play Therapist. NanDee has worked with young people and their families in the Tulsa area for 16 years in community mental health and private practice. NanDee is passionate about training and collaboration and believes that when our whole selves are engaged in training, everyone benefits.
